HBD Celebrates 30 Years at 221 Duke of Gloucester

The month of August marked another colossal anniversary for Hillman, Brown & Darrow, P.A.; August 1983, 30 years ago, Michael P. Darrow and Samuel J. Brown moved their firm into the building off of Duke of Gloucester Street that has since become their home. These two Senior Partners are still proudly practicing, as well as some of their staff members that made the move with them 30 years ago!

HBD’s historic office building is nestled at the top of Duke of Gloucester Street, right off of Church Circle, just steps away from the Anne Arundel County Circuit Courthouse.  Although the firm has been located in the same building for the past 30 years, it has been a part of the Annapolis legal community since 1929 when founding father Noah A. Hillman opened his practice. The firm’s foundation has been built upon Mr. Hillman’s humanitarian endeavors and his dedication to the community, historic district, and local government.

The attorneys at HBD today have continued the legacy of Noah Hillman not only through their own contributions to the community but through their devotion to giving their clients the best representation imaginable. They are proud to be one of the oldest, consistent law firms in the county.
