Carla Magnaye Poole understands the importance of communicating honestly and transparently with her clients and colleagues. She brings with her the experience and skills to thoroughly prepare for the varying issues presented to her.
Ms. Poole has more than 13 years of professional experience working with clients of varying backgrounds. She has the expertise to listen to and work together with her clients, to consider all facets of the law, and to develop holistic strategies to resolve matters.
Ms. Poole attended the University of Baltimore School of Law with a concentration in family law, while working a full-time job and raising young children, and graduated cum laude in 2019. While in law school, Ms. Poole was involved with Parents in Law School and participated in the Mediation Clinic for Families, representing pro se clients in custody disputes and reaching favorable outcomes for her clients. Ms. Poole received the top scores in all her family law classes and is certified to conduct mediation for general and family matters. She currently serves as Emergency Planning and Preparedness Consultant for Witt O’Brien’s of Washington, DC, providing subject matter expertise to clients in emergency management.
Ms. Poole was born in Quezon City, Philippines and moved to the Baltimore-Washington Metropolitan at a young age. She and her family now call Annapolis home, and she is an active member of the community. Ms. Poole recently completed a term as the President of Annapolis Soccer Club, works with other local sports clubs to increase diversity and access to their programs across all populations, and provides pro bono services through the Pro Bono Resource Center of Maryland and the ABA/FEMA Disaster Legal Assistance Program.
