Katie D. Winiecki

Biography

Katie D. Winiecki, formally Katie D’Entremont, understands and values the importance of passionate advocacy and transparent communication with her clients through all steps of their case.

Ms. Winiecki spent the beginning of her career representing and advising hundreds of victims of intimate partner violence at The House of Ruth Maryland where she litigated and resolved domestic issues including Protective Orders and Peace Orders.

She received her Bachelor of Arts in English from Providence College, and from there went on to attend American University Washington College of Law, where she received her Juris Doctorate.

While in law school, she was involved in a number of activities, as a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and was awarded the Peter Cicchino Public Service Award, a prestigious honor given to students and alumni demonstrating commitment and excellence in the field of public interest. She was also involved in the Women in Law Society and interned for The Honorable J. Michael Ryan at the Superior Court of the District of Columbia.

Katie was born and raised in Melrose, Massachusetts and she and her husband reside in Annapolis, where she is an active member of the community.
