Hillman, Brown & Darrow, P.A. is pleased to announce that Crighton A. Chase has become a partner in the firm.
Mr. Chase graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He attended the University of Baltimore School of Law where he was awarded his Juris Doctor, cum laude, in 2003. Following his admission to the bar in 2003, Mr. Chase clerked for two highly respected judges, the Honorable Debra S. Eyler, Court of Special Appeals and the Honorable Joseph P. Manck, Anne Arundel County Circuit Court. In 2005, Mr. Chase was appointed as an Assistant State’s Attorney for Anne Arundel County, where he went on to handle cases ranging from serious traffic to felony level offenses.
In 2011, Mr. Chase joined Hillman, Brown & Darrow, P.A. He continues to use his invaluable legal experience and trial skills to assist clients in successfully facing some of the most challenging legal issues. His practice focuses primarily on domestic and criminal law where he represents parties involved in divorce, custody, support and other family law related matters and represents juveniles and adults in criminal and traffic charges, in both the District and Circuit Courts.
Mr. Chase volunteers for events in the local and national Bar Associations that educate students and citizens on legal issues. He also volunteers for the Court of Appeals New Attorney Mentoring Program and is involved in his children’s activities and the local community.
Mr. Chase and his wife reside in Crownsville, Maryland with their two sons.
